Pre-Marathon Training February 2016

February
1) Easy 6 miler; 9:13 pace
2) Intervals 4 x .75 mile; 5:35, 5:36, 5:36, 5:35 (8 on the treadmill)
3) Fran 12 minutes--added weights to the bar for a total of 56 lbs.  My time was much slower than last week's 10 minutes.
4) Tempo 4 miler; 8:09 pace
5) Easy 6 miler; 9:09 pace--I was actually going faster than the speed I had set for the treadmill, 9:13.

8) Easy 6 miles; 9:13 pace
9) Intervals 4 x .75 mile; 5:36, 5:36, 5:37, 5:36 (8 on the treadmill)
10) Fran 8:23--56 lbs.
11) Tempo - DNF due to blister under foot
12) Easy 6 miles; 9:13 pace (6.5 on the treadmill)
13) Long run 10 miles: 9:09 pace (6.5 on the treadmill)

15) Easy 6 miles: 54:59, 9:09 pace (6.5 on the treadmill)
16) Intervals 4 x .75 mile: 5:37 (8), 5:32 (8.1), 5:29 (8.2), 5:24 (8.3). ( ) treadmill speed
17) Fran under 7 minutes
18) Tempo run 4 miles: 8:13 (7.3), 8:09 pace 32:33.  Started better running exercises & stretches.
19) Long run 10 miles: 1:32:04, 9:12 pace.

22) Easy 6 miles: 9:13 pace
23) Intervals 4 x .75 mile: (8.1)
24) Fran, but over 10 minutes
25) Tempo run 4 miles
26) Long run 10 miles: 1:31:33, 9:09 pace.

29) Easy 6 miles:  9:13 pace
