Hey, this feels like a marathon!

So this morning's marathon workout called for intervals: 6 x 800m at or around 3:35 pace with 400m recovery. After a 2 mile (3.3km) warm up--on the treadmill--I get on the track and start at it. I managed to hit my time with ranges between as slow as 3:39 and as fast as 3:31, so the average is pretty close to 3:35. I noticed, however, that about the 4th or 5th interval my legs felt like my legs after mile 20 in a marathon: tired but still managing to chug along. I found that interesting and hopeful because my two fastest marathons, I remember my legs feeling exactly like that. So more will be revealed. I'll keep you all posted.
